About the challenge

This hackathon challenges participants to leverage AI technology to enrich and equitize K-12 student education by creating innovative tools or plans that directly address the needs of their defined audience.

This hackathon is jointly hosted by Phillips Exeter Academy and The Lawrenceville School. Go Big Red!

Saturday Schedule (4/11):

  • Lunch (provided) and Kickoff: 12:00pm, Keynote Speaker Michael Spaeth
  • Dinner: 6pm (provided)
  • Projects Due: 7:45pm

  • Student Presentations & Judging: 7:45pm onwards

  • Winners Announced: 9:00pm

Requirements

What to Build

Participants are encouraged to build anything from apps to browser extensions, with the primary goal of using AI to enhance accessibility, engagement, or learning outcomes for K-12 students.

What to Submit

Submissions should include a project description, a demonstration of how the AI-related API was utilized, and an explanation of the ethical considerations addressed during development.
